We sync your artist image from your Facebook page if you have the Artist Platform Facebook app installed. The image should appear automatically on your artist page on Bandsintown.com (see http://bandsintown.com/newfoundglory for an example).
On the web:
If you wish to have a different profile picture than on Facebook, simply go to the Profile tab in Bandsintown Manager to manually update your image. For more info, click here.
On Mobile (iOS & Android):
Tap the "More" tab and click on "Artist Profile Image" to upload a new profile picture.
If your image appears correctly on your artist page http://bandsintown.com/yourArtistNameHere, that means we have synced your image correctly.
If you still see a blank or stock photo artist image on the mobile apps, the image will refresh on mobile once your device clears its image cache, but new trackers should see the new image.
Refreshing the image cache happens automatically with time on mobile devices but you can force it by doing the following:
Go to the Settings app
Scroll down and tap the Bandsintown app
Flip the switches for "Force Log Out", "Internal Database", and "Image Cache"
Close the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the Bandsintown app
Relaunch the app by tapping the Bandsintown icon
Clear the app settings for Bandsintown in your Android settings
Remember, if you see your image at your band URL, for example http://bandsintown.com/newfoundglory, but not on mobile, it is only affecting your device and not all trackers. New trackers should see the new image.
