Last Updated: Jun 01, 2017 08:42AM PDT
The Auto-Announce feature generates notifications to your fans through your social network whenever you announce a new concert date, helping to ensure they never miss any of your shows. You can customize these posts by their frequency and audience to go out on your Facebook, Twitter and/or Tumblr pages.

1. Go to the "Settings" tab in Bandsintown Manager
2. Click on the "Auto-Announce" button
Note: you can also go to the "Events" tab & click on "Auto-Announce Settings"
3. Customize your different announcements
4. Click "Save"

On Facebook:
To access your Auto-Announce settings, click "Auto-Announce" in Bandsintown Manager. To change your settings, open up the tab for the type of Auto-Announce post you want to change and select your settings for each type of post.

With Auto-Announce, keep in mind:
--Posts are queued 24 hrs in advance. If you turn one type off but there's already a post scheduled, you may see one more post go out within 24 hrs. Additionally, this means if you enable Auto-Announce, you may not see a post that should go out soon if it's already past the scheduling time.
--The text you put in the boxes for each event will go out with that type of post. Use general text here such as "Aw yeah, tomorrow!" for a "Day Before" post. Don't use anything specific to a date or city.
--On Facebook, hover over the green check mark to the right of each post type to see what's enabled for that post. A grey dash means nothing is enabled.
