Why am I getting notifications for the wrong location?

If you have one location set on the mobile app, and another on the Facebook app, events from both locations will be aggregated in your weekly update emails and notifications. If you're receiving notifications for the wrong location, double check your location is set correctly on both platforms.

To change your location, do the following:


On iOS:
1. Go to the Settings tab on the bottom right
2. Choose Change Location
3. Type in location

OR

1. Go to the Cloud tab on the bottom left
2. Choose the menu icon on the top right
3. Choose Change Location

On Android:
1. Go to Settings
2. Choose Location
3. Type in location

OR

1. Go to Cloud
2. Choose the menu icon on the top right
3. Choose Change Location

Keep in mind our current location database uses "City, State" parameters for the US, and "City, Country" for all other countries. If you're having trouble pinpointing a location, make sure you're using either the city and state or city and country, and not the province, township, or region name.
